UT's First Day answers a few pending questions

Volunteer practice, well mandatory practice for the Volunteeers anyway, started yesterday.  Be sure to check at the full recaps at RTT, KNS, and utsports.com, but for our purposes, let's just look at a few of the questions that got answered... for me anyway.

What number is Bryce Brown going to wear this year? 11.  Todd Campbell, who wore the number last year, switched to 85 to make it available.  The most famous 11 in orange to date?  WR Joey Kent who was a 2nd round pick by the Titans in 2000.  He had another pretty famous #16 dishing him the rock in college.  David Oku is starting camp in #27 (that of recently departed Arian Foster).

Where is Daniel Hood going to play? For now at least, Offensive Line.  The controversial local signee suited up with the grunts.

Can Brandon Warren catch well enough to play offense? Looks like it.  Besides being stripped a time or two, he reportedly made a nice jumping sideline grab.  Now, if he can only find the field...

How involved is Monte Kiffin going to be? Significantly.  Take a look at the video of yesterday's drills below.  There he is in all his 69-year-old glory roughing it up with D-Linemen and Backers.

What does Ed Orgeron drink for breakfast? Red Bull.  Oh, AND coffee.  That shock anyone?  Not this guy.
